Now we are looking for a GIS Project Manager for a Full Time/Contract position in Riyadh, KSA to join our team at Globant!
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a GIS Project Manager to define and drive the program vision, and measurement metrics, set the roadmap, coordinate execution, and measure and report the program planning and execution. They will help improve the program portfolio, help gauge the health of strategic initiatives across entities and business domains. The candidate should be skilled with project management frameworks and talent management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• A true single-entry point and intelligent orchestration layer provides access to the latest, most popular commerce experiences through merchants’ existing infrastructure
• With less ongoing maintenance and fewer operational costs, merchants can focus on creating new ways for consumers to discover and interact with them
• The Project Manager is responsible for leading moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger, more complex projects
• This role will be accountable for delivering medium to large projects on time, within budget, and scope from initiation to closure
• Utilizes Fundamental Project Management Disciplines: Schedule, Scope, Change, Financial, Risk/Issue Management
• Facilitates/leads project communications to stakeholders, clients, the broader project team and leadership
• Interfaces/coordinates with external clients, committed to balancing their needs with the capabilities of the team, while keeping all aligned
• Interfaces/coordinates with internal teams on cross functional initiatives
• Effectively manages resources/effort that are distributed globally
• Accepts responsibility to drive a successful outcome for our teams and clients
• Proactively contributes to process refinement, program growth, and improved outcomes for our clients
• Manages across a blend between Agile/Waterfall Methodologies
• Should have played the role of a Scrum Master in the past.
What will help you succeed:
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies, Agile Methods including Scrum, Kanban, Agile, SAFe ceremonies
- Strong experience in stakeholder Management and communication planning
- Strong English & Arabic communications skills
